I'm getting excited though...my husband and I have a brand new yard to create and we are just overflowing with ideas on the layout, focal points and all the good things that come with playing in the dirt. We will miss our old yard but we will be able to take care of it this summer as we have rented the house for a couple of years... we hope.
One of our main reasons was to be able to move some of our favourite plants.
Here is a picture of our favourite spot! We have or I should say my husband has built an indoor pond at the new house to keep the fish happy until we can put them in their new home.
I have pondered helping others with their gardens and wonder if there is much demand from people to get some advice on how to grow beautiful plants in our lovely climate? I'm not intersted in landscaping a yard or building decks just on helping people with their garden beds and selection of plants or problems they may have.
Here are some pictures of our side yard the first one taken in 2006 and the next one 2008. The clematis did extremely well despite the location which I thought did not offer enough sun but the heat off the house helped it tremendously.
Until next time...
I would love to hear from you
